TXP Gentle Calm

TXP Gentle Calm is another style I have ported by Phu Ly. It is a full-width style with sidebar. I like the rounded corners in the comment entry form too though I don’t think IE users will be seeing them. :grin:
All the usual pages and plug-ins. I’ve kept the links page despite the sidebar as you can put more detail into it. Might be a way of separating the really good links from the normal sidebar dross.

I installed this template and I have noticed some problems. the worst of all its that the navigations bottoms on the top of home site didn’t work properly. How to repair this error?
And textile tags like numbered or unsorted list also didn’t work.

Try visit my site once more. Now i put less posts on home site and there is a previous bottom on the button of it. Its get you to wrong address. I don’t know why but he has address like that:

About lists. Look at this posts
There are not lists there. Right? But if you look in a html code you will see in a text. Whats wrong?
Ah. I see it now.
The listing problem in the sidebar is because this style was done for something like TXP 4.0.1 and some of the tags have changed since then. I shall need to work my way through all these styles and update them. :)
You need to replace the current tag with something like:-
< txp:linklist break="li" sort="linksort asc" (or linksort desc) category="blogs" wraptag="ul" /> (remove the space at the beginning which I need to put in here or else the tag will not display)
then remove the “ul” tags that you have in your sidebar at the moment as they are now included in the tag.
I can’t see why the paging links won’t work. Those tags haven’t changed and the tags on the “single” pages are working properly. It would suggest to me that “clean URLs” are not working properly on your site but everything else seems to work so I’m really not sure about that one. :(
You could try switching back to “messy URLs” in “Admin” and see what happens or change to “debugging” mode and see if it throws any errors at you. Other than that I can only suggest raising it in the Forum.

I change on “messy URL” but its change nothing. Now i get home page when i click on prev button… Strange.

When i change production status od Debugging i get a lot of errors and warnings like this:

I’m newbie and I know that I’m tiring user :( I need help from someone who understand TXP and who can and want to explain me what I need to do witch my problem. I didn’t write about sidebar when i told about the lists, but entrybody when I use a list tags. The sidebar it’s ok for me ;) (yet) In the demo of this template I see that listening in posts are available.

When using lists in posts you first have to leave a blank line before the list then for each list item you start the line with an ”*” and leave a blank space before starting the text. Then leave a blank line at the end of the list.
I’m really not sure why the paging link isn’t working properly. Maybe if you want to give me a login to your site I can have a look around and see if I can see anything.

Ok, I find the problem witch lists. The post what I told that not working properly was writen by tinyMCE, but when I write in Textile everything its ok.
But when I write in tinyMCE and clik on preview button everything its ok…
