TXP Fresh Bananas     TXP Fresh Bananas

Not entirely sure what this has to do with bananas but never-the-less it is a nice, clean, simple style probably suitable for a newcomer to TXP / CSS / XHTML. The black-on-white text area makes for easy reading and there are minimal images used. I like this but then I have a tendancy to only port styles that I like. Unless I get asked for a special job.

Only 2 plug-ins used for this. mkp_version is used in the footer for the TXP version and revision numbers and zem_contact is used on the Contact page for a form mailer. Neither are absolutely necessary but will be included in the download for your convenience.

There is a Demo available.

    Hi Stuart,
Just getting my teeth into using Textpattern and decided to use this excellent theme with which I am tweaking within my limited grasp of design. I’m using 4.0.7 r3033 but when I make a post Sticky, it doesn’t show on my front page. Could it be anything to do with this theme or should I be directing my attention to troubleshooting this elsewhere?
    Thanks.

    Hi Pinky,

    Glad you like the theme.

By default the <txp:article /> tag will only display “live” articles. You will need to add the status attribute to the tag to enable “sticky” articles. Depending on what else you want to display on the same page you may require 2 <txp:article /> tags.
