TXP Boyish
TXP Boyish is a 4/3 column layout which should be suitable for a news, linklist or magazine type site. It has quite a complex construction and would probably not be suitable for someone with limited HTML/CSS abilities or even someone relatively new to Textpattern.
The design is fixed-width and over 900px wide so anyone using an 800×600 or lower screen-resolution will be thrown a horizontal scroll-bar.
The front-page utilises 4 columns with the article column using automated excerpts. When on the back page in single article view the articles use a double width column for ease of viewing and this layout is also used for a category listing on the front-page as well as for the About, Contact, Archive, Search and Links sections.
All the usual sections and plug-ins are used and included in the download. Do check the TXP forum to ensure that you have the latest plug-in versions. Let me know if you find any glitches so I can fix them and update the download file.
This theme has been updated and uses tags which will not be available until TXP v4.0.6 however people using earlier versions can still use it with a couple of minor modifications which are detailed in the comprehensive installation “Readme” file.

What EVER happened to the PINK version of this template? I’ve searched and searched to no avail….
Thanx 4 reading… email me an answer, please!
Done.
Sorry, this theme not work with me…
There is not footer form in the them I downloaded. It’s a pity!
There is Olga but it is called “credit”. Not sure why I did that, it is so long ago now. Maybe the original theme used that name.
Well, I am really sorry. I have put “default” page as default-default. It turns it should have been archive-default. Now it works. !
GREAT theme! Thank you very much! I am looking forward to buy one of your pro-themes.
Where do I find the pink variety?
Because someone asked about the pink version above. :)
I realised that the problem is caused by the rss_suparchive plugin. When it’s on the footer doesn’t show correctly
No pink variety Olga. Well not for Txp. If my memory serves me properly someone did do a pink version but I never bothered with it. Why call it “Boyish” if it’s pink?
I would think it would be fairly easy to modify though if you have a decent graphics application that allows you to change the hue.
Anyway, it’s great to chat with you, the wonderful artist!
Glad to catch you on your site :)
Can you please give me an adive on what plugin can be used instead the rss_suparchive? Thank you!
I have a soft spot for Mary’s upm_date_archive.
