It looks like someone has blown up the paint factory doesn’t it but heck, I like it!

This theme will only work with TXP 4.0.2+ due to the use of certain new tags not previously available. If you don’t have 4.0.2+ you are advised to upgrade. Do it now whether you use this theme or not.

I have tried to maintain the original functionality of Borderline Chaos where possible and improve on it whilst I was thinking about it.

What do you get? There’s an About page, a Contact page using zem’s form mailer plug-in, archives by month and by category, both with menus and no plug-in used, a separate search results page to keep the front-page a bit cleaner, and keep your eye on that menu top-box as you move around. It also validates to XHTML 1.0 Strict. You know it’s best.

The only other plug-in used apart from zem’s form mailer is “mkp_version” which appears in the footer and displays your current TXP version and revision numbers. If you aren’t too lazy this could be done manually but that is up to you. Both plug-ins will be included in the download for your convenience.

The more I look at this the more I think it could be used for a junior school site or for the younger surfer assuming they are allowed on the net. Of course you might just like the bold colours, as I do, so I will allow adults to use it. ;)

There is a Demo available.

I like it, a nice layout and flow that I can modify for my own scheme.

There are some CSS issues – the most egregious of which is that sidebox[1-6] are defined as classes but referenced with id selectors, so the boxes and backgrounds don’t show up for the section/category/etc…

Whoops! My bad. Thanks for pointing that out. Download has been updated.
