1. 'Succession'
Starring: Brian Cox, Kiernan Culkin, Matthew Macfadyen, Alan Ruck, Jeremy Strong, Hiam Abbass, Nicholas Braun, and Peter Friedman
Network: HBO

Why it's must-watch TV: Most people probably don't want to watch another TV shows about a white, hyper-rich family filled with power-hungry individuals. Yet the Roy family is totally worth watching, especially since it's anchored by patriarch Logan Roy ⏤ a satirical hybrid of the Trump and Murdoch empires. Logan is a callous scumbag who has extended his business into politics, entertainment, media, and even theme parks! His buffoonish children spend most of their time clawing up the corporate hierarchy despite boasting little merit of their own. They are more interested in feuding over their inheritance than taking a look at how their abuse of power makes them horrible people. Although Succession brilliantly points out everything that is wrong with the One Percent, it somehow makes you invested in these cartoonish characters. You'll find yourself rooting for some of them, cringing in embarrassment or rolling in laughter at their deeply revolting behavior towards others and one another.
