We Have Touchdown
So after 5 days of messing around on my XAMPP install mixed in with working for a living I give you my latest Bomb Site design. Hope you like it.
I’ve kept it pretty simple but tried to ensure good coding. It should be pretty readable. (I can read it!) There are one or two little surprises dotted around. I’ll leave you to find them.
As is my normal habit I shall no doubt mess around with the odd detail until I am truly satisfied but I am pretty happy with it as it stands. Do let me know if you have any problems.
You may also notice that I have stripped out a lot of content. I am going to concentrate on my weblog and Textpattern. I was finding it extremely difficult to keep all the other stuff up-to-date.
Talking of Textpattern, version 4.0.5 was released a couple of weeks ago. If you use it, update it. If you don’t use it, get it now.
Textpattern Solutions is now available. It is an excellent companion for TXP users and comes in book or downloadable pdf formats. I already have mine. Excellent stuff! Go get it.

You shouldn’t worry about being brilliant first time. The code is pretty solid so just build on it until you are happy with it. At the end of the day, what you think about your own site is ALL that really counts.
