Not Sharp Project

I’ve completed the project apart from the usual fiddling. There just appears to be one minor hitch – you can’t see it at all with IE6. I don’t know if it’s just me so if anyone else with IE could go and view it and let me know the results I’d be grateful. In the meantime I’ll keep checking things in case I’ve got something wrong. It wouldn’t be the first time and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Anyway it now comes in six delicious flavours.

Let me know what you think.

Oh I forgot to add that I can’t see it in IE 6 either.

Great eh! Haven’t sorted that out yet. Can’t see what’s wrong with it. I’ve asked elsewhere.

Ha ha. I’ll tell him! Could you remind me who invented Internet Explorer? It’s slipped my mind and I’m sure I wanted to shoot him for some reason or other.

Actually Jess that’s the same colour template as here. Funny what a bit of white space does.

It does look quite different than this one – it’s probably the white and red mixed in. I do like monochrome a lot lot lot (repeated for emphasis). ;) So easy on the eyes.

I very much like the rounded boxes as well. Did I read there are no graphics used? :-O

Well I think if you just look at the frontpage here where there isn’t the red you can see it though as I say the white space makes a lot of difference.

No, there is not a single image used anywhere. I have recently done a zip file for how it exists now. There are a total of 37 files, 6 of which are the different colour CSS files and 6 of which are the different colour .js files plus, at the moment, there is a separate IE CSS file though whether I shall need this or not I don’t know yet. I can’t see it! There’s the standard style sheet and the main .js file which leaves a mere 22 templates. Now I wonder where all those came from! In fully expanded form those files total 66KB which is less than a lot of the zipped styles I already have on site but in zipped form Not Sharp weighs in at a hefty 29KB which makes it one of the smallest, yet most versatile styles available anywhere. And yes, I do say it myself.

I also happen to know that there is an improved version of the .js file coming very shortly to give more support to IE versions though whether that will solve my current IE problem is another matter. We shall see.

Not Sharp will not be released without some form of IE support.
