A recent upgrade threw a wobbly with my download tags in my Layouts section. A bit of a pain but it brought forward something I’ve been meaning to do when I had a bit of spare time, not that I seem to have much just at the moment, but I’ve pulled my finger out and spent about 8 hours sorting the damn thing out.
First thing you might notice is that I’ve given my Layouts section a prized birth in my topnav rather that it being hidden inside a drop-down. When you go there you will see that the pages with styles and templates on them look very similar to this one. That’s because I am now using individual articles which also enables me to include a comments invite so that people who may have problems or simply want to heap praises on me can do so with ease.
Also on those pages with downloads you will see at the top the current total number of styles/templates that have been downloaded to date. As I write this the figure has just gone past 16,000!
All you brilliant stylists out there should take heed. First of all that figure is only for downloads since 12/12/04 as I didn’t have any recording facilities prior to that. Second it should be remembered that I specialise in Textpattern and WordPress styles only. If you think on that for a while I challenge you to think of a better shop-window to display your designs.
So come on then. Let’s have some new designs to push please.

Was any of that stuff I sent of any use?
