Mordechai Vanunu
Mordechai Vanunu was released today after 18 years imprisonment, much of which was spent in solitary confinement in a 3m x 2m cell. Why? Because he is the technician who told the world about Israel’s nuclear weapons program. Seems a bit harsh doesn’t it but then I do think they are a harsh government. 
Anyway, having been "released", he is not allowed to leave the country or talk to the press. Personally I think that with all the extremists in Israel there is a good chance that his life is in danger too.
Maybe he would have been better off staying in prison which is a bit of a sorry state of affairs in a so-called democratic state!! :roll:
