Mmmmmenu!

Well I can’t leave things alone as you should know by now. I liked my previous menu but it used javascript which made it pretty unusable for some. So I’ve been messing about for the last 3 or 4 days on my test-site on my PC and now you can see the results. It’s still a bit of a work-in-progress from a styling point-of-view but the construction is pretty-much fixed. And not a single line of javascript. Pure CSS and nested, unordered lists. And if you want to see how it is constructed take a gander at this page’s source code. How’s that for a step toward accessibility?

Nice! And I very much like the new color of the menu. :thumbs up:

Thankyou much. How do you like the hover effect on the text boxes?

I get the urge to mouse-over to music. Strobe effect! :P

Did you notice that the menu is behind the “last laid blocks” on the guestblock page? Looks like you have to tweak the z-order in the css a little bit. Quite nice besides that.

(When I came to the page today, I noticed that there’s something different, but I didn’t realize for some time WHAT was different, heh.)

Yes I spotted that thanks Jokai fan. I’m going to ask Matthew about it on the forum as I’m no expert with z-index. I was waiting for an answer to the problem you can see in the menu with the links in the Quick Stats. Still need to tweak the menu colours though me thinks.
