Some nice chap called zem has come up with an image replacement plug-in and it’s so simple to do now it’s ridiculous. Makes you want to use it everywhere but I’m resisting the temptation. I’ve done what I want to do and that’s it for the moment. I would like to go a bit further though and modify the font to be exactly as I want it. Anyone out there know how to modify or create a font?

As far as I know you’d need to have some sort of font creation software to create new fonts properly.

I think there may be freebie font editors online which may work for you. I always wanted to make my own fonts (as opposed to editing existing ones) so I never gave them a try.

I’ve read that CorelDraw can create/modify fonts as well, but I haven’t used it so that’s second-hand info.

OK thanks Jess. I’ll check through that stuff and see what I find.
