This has been around for a while but I have only just seen it.
I have watched Apollo launches before, both live and in special TV programmes but this video is just phenomenal. It is a 30 second, real-time sequence recorded at 500 frames per second which stretches it out to around 8 minutes. The camera is pointing at the engines. The detail is fantastic and Mark Gray’s commentary is really interesting and explains exactly what you are seeing as the sequence progresses. Very enlightening. Give it a viewing!
