Hall of Fame
If you have surfed my site at all you should know that I like ice hockey. I support two teams. The New Jersey Devils of the NHL and The San Diego Gulls who are now in the ECHL. If you know even a little about ice hockey then you should know the Devils however you may not have heard of the Gulls. No matter. I’m not talking about the teams here. The Gulls do a tremendous amount of fund raising for local west-coast charities, as you will see if you read the current article, and a large part of their team are The Gulls Girls.
These lovely young ladies perform dances during game intermissions but apart from that they also do a lot of volunteer work and fund raising of their own. For the past two seasons I have been in regular email contact with one of them. Marissa, or Rissa as I’m allowed to call her (don’t let me catch you doing it), has been a stalwart member of The Gulls Girls team and apart from that is just plain bloody gorgeous. Unfortunately she will not be returning for next season so I have now created The Bomb Site Hall of Fame and Rissa has been inducted as the first member (and maybe the only member). If you care to see who I’m drooling over then go to the bottom of my San Diego Gulls page and I should point out that the thumbnail is clickable. Whilst you are there why don’t you take a tour of The Gulls Girls website.
I read through their site (no, not just to see more pictures – well, maybe partly for that reason). It’s impressive and wonderful the amount of work they put in to help others. Just excellent.

There is no such thing as “ice” hockey. There is only hockey. Hockey, hockey, hockey. I have heard rumours that chicks in skirts play something called “field hockey” but that is never to be confused with hockey. When speaking about the greatest game on the planet, one must ALWAYS refer to it as hockey. There is no other kind.

I feel better now. Going to check out the site!
