Done Nothing

Well I was anticipating doing a few more layout fixes yesterday. I did manage to do 2 but then my friends, Kevin and Libby, turned up at about 5:00pm. Lot’s of chat, lots of CDs and lots of Stella. All on an empty stomach I’m afraid so I was starting to wobble a bit when they left at about 8:30pm. I couldn’t be arsed to cook so a quick trip to the Chinese sorted the empty stomach (didn’t sort the wobble though). I then promptly fell asleep on the sofa and woke about 11:00pm which was lucky cuz The Sheild was on. I like The Shield. I went to bed after that which must be the earliest I’ve hit the sack for a few months.

On a more serious but happy note, my son Kevin has 4 “A” level passes and will be off to Uni next month sometime. He’s going to Oxford. It’s not one of the big Oxford Unis but hey, it’s Uni and it’s in Oxford. Sounds good though doesn’t it? He’s doing a secondary course in Japanese which means that he will be spending his 3rd year in Japan. Cool or what? I might just go with him!!

Tut-tut, just as well i didn't turn up yesterday then isn't it!?! Still, The Shield wasn't great last night...but going to sleep right after it??? far too early!

If anyone hasn't guessed Me = Kevin ^.^...the one going to uni! Yay!

Anyways, me might come up again and drink all your coffee tomorrow. So maybe see you then, and to everyone else....Bye bye!

Well, Congratulation Stuart on your son's success. Tell him that for the next four years, endurance, perseverance and dedication are keys to completion and success, and that once you shed the graduation gown and throw your hat into the air, the world will be a better place. But don't rule out the fun aspect of life, that is where I found my first love. Oh ya, I almost forgot: loving parents are a very nice thing to have... $$$$$$$.

Now that I got a couple of weeks off from my studies, I'm going to be working on the "float" method in my CSS. I have being thinking, I may end up running WP-1.3 and do a fresh re-start on my layout now that my knowledge of CSS had gained unprecedented heights in the last 3 months. And I must say, Stuart, that was a well thought out tutorial on CSS you featured here. I actually got some ideas from it. You and Nuclear Moose should collaborate on some up-coming projects together?

Congratulations to the offspring getting into Oxford, top work.

Japan is such an exciting prospect. Having spent a week there last year, as part of my world travels, I can tell you it's a mesmerising place.

The man himself speaking at the top there. Sounds like I've got his company tomorrow. A big thankyou to everyone. I'm sure he's read your comments by now.
