Well TXP keeps moving on and I keep doing little tweaks to The Bomb Site style. This generally happens in strict rotation. I come up with a design that I’m happy with. I migrate it through the site. I spend the next 3 or 4 months doing little tweaks to it. I reach a point where I can’t think of anything else to do. (This should, of course, mean that I’ve reached perfection, but somehow I don’t think I’ve proved that theory, so theory it still remains.) I then get bored with having nothing to do so I create a totally new style. And so the cycle continues. To think that I may still be tweaking when I’m 96. smile smiley

Partly I tweak to enhance the style. You may note that on article titles and the comments blocks I have changed the border colour. I minor tweak with quite a big effect. And partly I tweak to try out some new stuff that’s been added to TXP. The latest additions include the tag <txp:if_preview><txp:else /></txp:if_preview>. This now allows me to put a message above your comment when you are previewing it. With the Thank you message you see when you have submitted a comment, something we have had for a while, I like to ensure that I get some styling sorted. I’ve noticed that some people haven’t bothered to style the Thank you message yet which is probably just them forgetting they have it. I have enough problems with forgetting without adding to them!

Anyway, as I tweak and add new stuff, don’t hesitate to mention if you think I’ve gone in the wrong direction. Maybe the wrong colour, maybe too big, maybe it was better the way it was. I’m not saying I shall take any notice but it’s nice to know.
